Yes I'm still here!! My life doesn't slow down much. And I keep adding more to it. Work has been very hectic. We have 77 EMT students that are finishing up classes. Next semester it looks like those numbers could go over 100. The spring political season is fast approaching. That means I will be on the road a lot. I have been spending a bunch of time with some of my hobbies. Trains, I bought a 1948 Alco SW-1 engine with another guy. Red headed dancer's, My friend CAT is back to work, Yea. I also have developed a strong relationship with another red headed dancer "Jenny". How strong you ask. I spent 6 hours on the road last Saturday to spent 4 hours with her. I'm to be back up there Wednesday to help her celebrate her birthday. In the last three weeks we have spent a significant amount of time together. I must remember to thank my good friends Devin(a former dancer) and Randy for introducing me to her back in October. well enough rambling for now.

My life has not slowed down much. I've chased hurricane's doing storm cleanup in Florida. We have been very busy here at work with record numbers of students. My life in politics has been very active. I was voted on to the board of a state association. As a city councilman I had to fire a major city employee. We are now also dealing with the fact that our mayor has quit. I have a national EMS conference in Atlanta to get ready for. That should be a fun party. I have also enjoyed several of my hobbies. I'll try to post on them soon.

This has been a very busy summer for me so I have not kept up with posting to well. A couple of my hobbies have taken a lot of my time. Fighting wildfires and politics. We have had several issues in the small town where I am a city council person. Fire season has been a mess jumping all over the place and blowing up then loosing steam just as fast. I have also been spending time working on a project that my dad's memorial was for. I'll try to get better at posting.

I took a vacation day yesterday to help a friend, CAT, celebrate her birthday. It was a long but fun day, 23 hours to be exact. It started at 0600 and ended this morning at 0500. I still made it to work by 0900 this morning. I got to enjoy several of my hobbies in the process. First she's a red head and a dancer, go figure. Second I spent a lot of the time on the road almost 700 miles. With the truck I drive plus the cost of fuel that's $100.00. Ouch! expensive hobby these days. Third music, We went to a concert. Puddle of Mud and Kid Rock, what a blast. Not only the stage show but another of my hobbies, watching people. CAT was a hoot during the show. It was a pretty fluid day with no real plan which is the way I like it. Some of the things I kind of wanted to happen, didn't. But others that I didn't expect, did. So all in all it was a great day spent with a good friend. I hope you had as good a time as I did girl friend. Luv Ya!!!

I even spent time partying in Topeka with friends(Cat and Blinkie). Both are dancers, one a redhead. I also got a wisdom tooth pulled. I ended the week going to a couple of school graduationsand the parties after.

This has been another crazy week. I logged 56 hours at my full time job as of 5 PM today. One of my part time jobs just called. They want me to drive a semi load of milk to Waco, Tx. I'm to leave around 9 PM. I'm going to have a quick supper of fresh asparagus and yellow morels with a big buffalo ribeye on the grill then it's on the road. It is an 18 hour round trip so that will kill this weekend.

Horses and dogs... I currently have 3 dogs and 17 horses. I have 7 baby horses this year. Normally I sell them as yearling's. Actually 2 of the babies and 3 of the adults are long ears (mules). I use them for pleasure (Hunting, fishing, camping), historical reenacting, and some of them work on ranches in the flint hills.

Hunting and Fishing. I hunt everything from wild asparagus and mushrooms to frogs, rattle snakes, rabbits, quail, pheasant, turkey, deer, and elk. I even hunt people (bounty hunting). I love to fly fish for brookies and sand sharks, run trot lines, sit around and watch the pole, ice fish, and even do a little noodling for big cats. I am a firm believer in using what you harvest.

|What I do.
I have several jobs. Some pay some don't. I work full time in Fire and EMS education. I am on the city council where I live. I am on the volunteer EMS and Fire departments were I live, and the volunteer Fire department where I work. I spend the summers fighting wildfires for the Forest Service. For fun I bounty hunt, drive trains, work in the oil field, farm, and ranch. These all pay a little. That helps me pay for my hobbies.
I have a friend doing this so I thought I'd give it a try. Where to start.... I live a very active and hectic life. Some times I meet myself on the road of life and wonder where I have been. When I have more time I'll fill in the details.
